Union County proudly celebrates its agricultural heritage. In 2007, a committee was developed  to create a local market where growers of all sizes could sell their products. It was also decided that artisans—ranging from beekeepers and bakers to potters and painters—would have the opportunity to offer their handmade goods. So when we say “Home Grown and Handmade,” you can trust that the products you’re buying were created right here in our community.

Food purchased at a local farmers market offers exceptional freshness, quality, flavor, and variety. You know exactly where your food comes from and how it was grown. Supporting the market also helps sustain a regional food system that keeps small family farms thriving, protects land from development, and ensures access to fresh, local food for everyone.

The growers and artisans at the market are truly special people. Stop by the Union County Farmers Market, meet them, and enjoy everything that is homegrown and handmade!
