Vendors

Trash and Treasure opens for 2026 on Friday, May 29th, 2026, offering an exciting opportunity for treasure hunting enthusiasts. The sale will be available to consumers each Friday from 8 am until 1 pm, with the last day for the sale in 2026 set for October 31, 2026.

Trash and Treasure's opening day is May 29th, 2026. For unique vendors, the market will open at 7 am each Friday, and all vendors must be packed and exited from the market by 2 pm to prepare for the following Saturday Market Day. There are 84 stalls available for rent each week on a first-come, first-served basis, and no reservations are accepted. Upon arrival, vendors should find an empty stall to back into and set up their goods for sale. Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables.

Prior to exiting the market, all vendors must clean up their stalls. The use of nails or screws in the poles is strictly prohibited; bungee straps are a great alternative. Additionally, do not leave any items in your stall overnight. Stall rental is $20 per day, payable by cash or check, which a member of the Farmers Market staff will collect before 9 am.

Each stall measures approximately 10 feet by 16 feet and is marked by green stripes along the booth. Vendors must unhook trailers from trucks, which should be parked in the lot below the Market Buildings. Furthermore, each vendor should bring their own money to provide change to customers.

All vendors are expected to conduct themselves courteously and respectfully towards customers, fellow vendors, and market staff, adhering to Union County Parks and Recreation's Zero Tolerance policy. It's important to remember that selling agricultural or food products is prohibited, and solicitation for political or religious purposes is not allowed. State and local campaign merchandise sales are also prohibited.

Any merchandise sold at Trash and Treasure must be family-friendly; items that are offensive or profane will not be permitted for display or sale. Only registered service animals are allowed in market areas, and smoking is prohibited within 25 feet of the Farmers Market.

Electricity is available at every other booth in buildings A and B, and at each booth in building C, with a maximum of 20 amps per circuit. Allowed items for sale include used household items, flea market treasures, antiques, crafts, and resale items—though food sales of any kind are not permitted.

Long firearms must be zip-tied through the breech and unloaded; pistol sales are prohibited. Non-profits may sell food items, crafts, and yard sale items at Trash and Treasure but should contact the Market Manager at 706-439-6043 or email the Farmers Market to reserve a stall for specific dates.

Please note that the Union County Farmers Market is not responsible for any items stolen or damaged by individuals visiting Trash and Treasure.
